Police Seize Heroin, Cash, Gun From Franklin Street Residences

Police seized 260 doses of heroin, a sawed-off shotgun and a large sum of cash while executing three search warrants Wednesday morning on Franklin Street.

Drug investigators from the Jamestown Police Department along with members of the New York State Police CNET executed the warrants at 6 a.m.

With the assistance of the Jamestown Police SWAT Team, investigators searched 52 Franklin St. and located a quantity of heroin and cash, charging Jose Sanquiche, 37, with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The SWAT Team also made entry into 58 Franklin St. Investigators located more heroin and cash, charging Juan Vargas-Lopez, 30, and Stephanie Castro, 26, both with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Investigators also searched 61 Franklin St., locating a sawed-off shotgun and charging Raul Rodriguez-Colon, 62, with criminal possession of a firearm.
