Police Looking For Second Street Shooter Suspect

Jamestown police are looking for Trenton Grant, 20. Police released Grant’s photo and name as the suspected shooter in a shooting Tuesday night at the Appleyard Terrace apartment buildings on East Second Street.

According to a police report, Jamestown Police Department officials believe Grant is still in the Jamestown area and is likely to be armed and dangerous. Charges against Grant for Tuesday’s shooting are still pending. Grant is also wanted by Lakewood-Busti police in connection with a burglary in the village of Lakewood where a handgun, safe, laptop computer and jewelry were taken. Jamestown police report the handgun taken from the Lakewood residence was found near the scene of the shooting and is believed to be the weapon used to shoot the victim behind the Appleyard Terrace.

Police are also looking for 20-year-old Isaiah Pearson. Both Pearson and Grant have active warrants for burglary and grand larceny and are possibly together trying to avoid being arrested.
