Carlson To Speak At Salamanca AARP

SALAMANCA – Stanley Carlson of the Salamanca Railroad Museum will be guest speaker at the regular monthly meeting of the Salamanca AARP Chapter 844 on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Salamanca Area Senior Center, 18 Main St. in Salamanca.

There are still a few seats available for the three-day trip to Gettysburg and Lancaster, Pa., to see the production of “Moses” at the majestic Millennium Theater. Gettysburg attractions will include a visit to the Eisenhower farm, the David Wills House and a guided tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield and the Gettysburg Visitor Center. Cost of this trip is $399 per person for double accommodations.

The travel committee will also begin accepting reservations for the “Holiday Pops” featuring the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at Kleinhans Music Hall on Friday, Dec. 19. The cost of this day trip is $79 per person and will include luncheon at the Grapevine Restaurant in Amherst.
