JCC Soccer Loses 4-0 At Cuyahoga CC

PARMA, Ohio – Jamestown Community College began the men’s soccer season on a losing note Wednesday afternoon in the NJCAA competition.

”We played less than our best,”said coach Pat Anderson after the Jayhawks lost to Division 1 Cuyahoga CC, 4-0.

Tavin Williams delivered the hat trick for Cuyahoga.

Williams scored the only goal in the first half at 38 minutes, then, connected at 58 and 85 minutes in the second half. At 78 minutes, Dalton Joyce scored the final goal.

JCC goalie Brenton Walker made four saves and Cuyahoga goalie John Paul Duff also stopped four shots.

The next action for JCC is Region 3 play on Saturday at North Country CC at 2 p.m. and Sunday at Clinton CC at 4 p.m.
