Eleanor L. Wilcox
KIANTONE – Eleanor L. Wilcox, 76, of 1853 Riverside Road, died Sunday, (Aug. 24, 2014), at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.
She was born Nov. 19, 1937, in Jamestown, the daughter of Carl and Marion Corbran Hultin.
Before retiring in 1985, she had been employed at MRC/TRW.
She loved family gatherings and nothing brought more joy to her than being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker, and enjoyed nature, gardening and hummingbirds.
She will be sadly missed by her many friends and adoring family.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, David B. Wilcox; seven children: Joseph Sena of Cordova, Tenn., David (Wendy) Sena and Ronald (Missy) Sena of Jamestown, Debbie (Jack) Walker of Frewsburg, Kathy Gray of Falconer, Ronald and Duane (Darlene) Wilcox of Frewsburg; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lorraine Brown of Falconer.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Pearl Balder and Dorothy Luther; six brothers: Eugene, Wallace, Kenneth, Robert, Leonard and Lawrence Hultin; and a stepdaughter, Ruth Wilcox.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. The Rev. Mark Parsons of the United Methodist Church, Mayville, will officiate.
Burial will be in Kiantone Maple Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
