LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

LAKEWOOD – Brianna D. Price of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny at 8:53 p.m. Thursday after police officers responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at Debs in the Chautauqua Mall. Price allegedly took several items from the store without paying. She will be in Busti Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPT.

HANOVER – Timothy P. Murphy, 55, of Buffalo was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over at 11:25 p.m. Friday on Routes 5 and 20 in Hanover. He will be in Hanover Town Court later.

ELLICOTT – Timothy A. Penhollow, 48, of Gerry was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and unsafe lane change at 11:37 p.m. Friday on Route 60 in Ellicott. He will be in Ellicott Town Court later.

ELLERY – Boys M. Freeborough, 58, of Stoney Run Road, Sugar Grove, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and no headlights at 10:13 p.m. Friday after deputies saw a vehicle driving down Lakeside Drive, Bemus Point, with no headlights. Freeborough will be in Ellery Town Court later.

POLAND – John D. Devereaux, 21, of Elm Street, Kennedy, was charged with moving from lane unsafely and driving while intoxicated at 12:50 p.m. Saturday after a single-car accident on Hartson Road, Poland. Deputies report Devereaux’s vehicle went off the road and into a ditch. Devereaux suffered minor injuries while getting out of his vehicle and was taken to WCA Hospital for treatment. The Kennedy Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene. Devereaux will be in Poland Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

Heather C. Dominey, 29, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest at 2:25 a.m. Saturday after a fight at West Third and Cherry streets. According to a police report, officers responded to a reported fight in progress. Dominey allegedly tried to punch a police officer while the officer was trying to charge Dominey before she allegedly struggled with officers who were trying to arrest her. She was taken to the Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment.

Miranda J. Crandall, 20, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with improper turn, driving while ability impaired with drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 11:42 p.m., officers came upon a two-car vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of East Second and Buffalo streets. A vehicle driven by Crandall allegedly made an improper turn from Buffalo Street onto East Second Street. According to police, Crandall failed to maintain her lane and struck a vehicle head on that had stopped at a red light on East Second Street. Investigation revealed that Crandall was impaired by the use of drugs. She was uninjured, however the driver of the other vehicle was transported to the WCA Hospital complaining of back pain. Crandall was also found in possession of marijuana. She was transported to the city jail where she later posted bail. She will appear in court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WARSAW – Elizabeth Tingue-Bremen, 32, of Arcade was taken into custody Wednesday on a warrant for violation of probation. At 1:15 p.m., she was taken into custody at Wyoming County Community Health System, located at 401 N. Main St. in Warsaw. She was taken to the county jail. No bail is set at this time.
