Farrell, Gerringer Claim Goldman Senior M-G

Rich Farrell and Dave Gerringer claimed the 2014 Si Goldman Senior Member-Guest Invitational at Moon Brook Country Club on Saturday afternoon.

Farrell and Gerringer put together two-day rounds of 68 and 61 for a 129 net total to win the title by a stroke over Jon Scalise and Ben Conti, who delivered a 130 net.

The 61 by Farrell and Gerringer made them the co-medalists for the second day.

Dave Johnson and Yogi Kent took First Flight with 67-63-130 followed by Tim Shults and John Kraus with a 66-65-131.

Ron Pappalardo and Pat Traniello were the Second Flight winners followed by Chick Fasciana and Russ Triscari, who also shot a 68-65-133.

Pappalardo and Traniello’s total was good enough to give them the Super Senior championship.

Mark Pietrocarlo and Tom Pericak took the Third Flight by matching cards after tying John Martin and Izzy Barlow with a 140 total. Pietrocarlo and Pericak drilled a 71-69-140 and Martin and Barlow had a 72-69-140.

Randy Manitta and Bill Lambert hit 73-64-137 to win the Fourth Flight ahead of Tom Olson and Bill Sikorski with a 77-65-142.

Mike Roberts and Harry Nicholson were the co-medalists with a 60 for the first day.
