Area Police Reports


Christopher E. Delahoy, 25, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal mischief. At 12:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 262 Broadhead Ave. for a report of a car window that had been smashed out. A witness described the suspect as a shirtless white male that was walking down Barker Street. Officers located the suspect on South Main Street near Newland Avenue. He was identified as Delahoy. He was transported to the city jail where he is pending arraignment.


Padraic B. Gray, 32, of Lakewood was charged Wednesday with criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 5:57 p.m., police were dispatched to 10 Walnut St. in Lakewood for a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that Gray was allegedly responsible for the above charges. He was sent to the county jail on $5,000 and $10,000 property bond. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.


CHERRY CREEK – Darcy L. Marquart, 51, of Cherry Creek was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment, third-degree criminal mischief, illegal open burn, unlawfully growing cannibis and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana. At 4:30 p.m., Marquart allegedly shoved and punched another individual during an incident that occurred on Maple Street in Cherry Creek. It is also alleged that Darcy burned property belonging to the same individual. Investigation revealed that Darcy was allegedly growing cannibis and was in possession of marijuana. She will appear in Cherry Creek Court at a later date.


SHERIDAN – David Hughes, 74, of Dunkirk, was charged Monday with fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree criminal tampering and theft of services. The charges were the result of an investigation on a complaint received on July 3 regarding illegal piping and use of natural gas from a gas well located on Lakeshore Drive East in Sheridan, without permission from the owner. The estimated natural gas value used was $3,396.89. Hughes was processed at the Fredonia State Police barracks and will appear in Sheridan Court on Aug. 14.
