JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Juan Rivera-Rosario, 26, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 1:45 p.m., officers responded to 530 Winsor St. for a possible domestic incident and violation of an order of protection. Officers located Rivera-Rosario inside the residence along with a victim. Investigation revealed that there was a valid Jamestown City Court order of protection for him to stay away from the victim’s home. He was transported to city jail where he is awaiting arraignment.
Ryan A. Bloom, 28, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and traffic violations. At 10:24 a.m., officers pulled over a vehicle because the driver – Bloom – was using a cell phone while driving. During the investigation, officers located a loaded hypodermic needle and four baggies of heroin. He is currently pending arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Krystynn R. Barsness, 24, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. with petit larceny. It is alleged that Barsness stole $155.85 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Michelle R. Mosier, 25, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 12:40 p.m., Sears Loss Prevention observed Mosier leave the store without paying for children’s clothing that totaled $122.99. She will appear in Busti Court on Aug. 14.
Nicholas R. Reid, 21, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 7:51 p.m., police charged Reid after he allegedly stole merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. He will appear in Busti at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
SINCLAIRVILLE – James A. Huston Jr., 36, of Sinclairville was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, no inspection and unsafe tires after Troopers responded to Prospect Street in Sinclairville to investigate a report of a vehicle in a ditch.While interviewing the Huston, Troopers noticed an odor of alcohol.After field tests, they placed Huston under arrest for DWI. He was transported to State Police in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .17 was obtained. He will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.
