4 His Praise To Perform Aug. 24

4 His Praise, a Southern Gospel Quartet from Hillcrest Baptist Church, will present a concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, in the Hillcrest Baptist Church auditorium, 40 Hallock St.

The quartet will present an hour of southern gospel music by a variety of well-known composers including a “Salute to America” featuring a medley of patriotic songs including “You’re A Grand Old Flag” and “Yankee Doodle Dandy” by George M. Cohan.

4 His Praise has been singing together for nearly four years, singing primarily at the 8:45 a.m. worship service at Hillcrest. They performed two concerts last year, one at Hillcrest and at the East Randolph United Methodist Church. Recently they presented concerts for residents at Heritage Park Skilled Nursing and Rehab and Tanglewood Manor.

Members of the quartet include Dick Olson, bass; Maynard Cotter, baritone; Bob Beach, second tenor; and Craig Lassinger, first tenor.

The public is invited to attend. There is no charge. Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall following the concert.
