Horrigan To Hold Neighborhood Chats

MAYVILLE – In an effort to open up additional channels of communication, Chautauqua County Executive Vince Horrigan is prepared to visit several coffee shops and restaurants around the county as part of his Neighborhood Chats.

The Neighborhood Chats create an informal setting where residents and visitors can sit down with the county executive and voice their concerns, raise issues they feel need to be addressed, and have their questions answered.

Horrigan’s next Neighborhood Chats will be held on Monday at 8:15 a.m. at the Rowdy Rooster, 1 E. Main St. in Panama and Aug. 13 at 8:15 a.m. at Meeder’s, 19 E. Main St. in Ripley.

“I look forward to meeting with my constituents to discuss and understand their concerns as we talk about the future of Chautauqua County,” Horrigan said. “I encourage area residents and visitors to stop by the Rowdy Rooster and Meeder’s to talk with me.”

Plans are in place to have Horrigan travel to over a dozen locations across the county and he has already visited restaurants in Bemus Point, Cassadaga, Irving, and Sinclairville. Details about additional Neighborhood Chats will be released prior to his visit.

Restaurant owners who are interested in having the county executive visit can contact the county executive’s office at 753-4211.
