Library To Host Roselle Book Signing

Prendergast Library will host a book signing from 4:30-6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14 for “The Best Times of My Life” by Jim Roselle with Walt Pickut.

Mark Russell wrote the introduction to the 192-page memoir, which follows Roselle from his boyhood on Franklin Street in Jamestown through 60 years of radio broadcasting, including 40 from Chautauqua Institution. Selected Chautauqua interviews shed light on some of his most memorable conversations with people like Bill Clinton and Judy Collins.

“I didn’t succeed alone,” Roselle said. “Family and community made all the difference.”

In 2010, the local radio host was inducted into the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. He is a former member of the Prendergast Library board of trustees.
