Area Residents Participate In Iron Butt Challenge
Several area residents recently participated in the Iron Butt Challenge, a 1,000-mile ride over nearly 24 hours. From left are Dave Geitner, director of Kids and Cancer Benefit; Gordy Overturf, Beverly Sherman, director of Kids and Cancer Benefit; Scott Mckotch and Gregg Smith. Overturf, Mckotch and Smith raised $1,675, with all proceeds raised benefitting the Kids and Cancer Benefit for local families organized by the Chautauqua-Kinzua HOG Chapter. The ride began at 3:32 a.m. and ended at 11:30 p.m.
