City Man Struck By Car Transported To Hamot

A Jamestown man was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa. after getting struck by a car after failing to use a crosswalk.

At 9:40 p.m., Jamestown Police received a call that a silver-grey Dodge Neon struck a pedestrian crossing W. Eighth Street near Main Street. The vehicle was traveling straight on W. Eighth when it hit a pedestrian who was allegedly jaywalking across the street. The victim was said to have non life-threatening injuries.

An investigation is still ongoing.
