Area Police Reports


Jamie M. Nixon, of Panama, Shannon L. DeJesus, 28, of Panama, Nicholas R. Glover, 27, of Jamestown and Lacey L. Glover, 29, of Jamestown were all charged Monday with disorderly conduct. At 2:04 p.m., police were dispatched to the Lakewood Wal-Mart for a fight in the parking lot. Investigation revealed that the four above individuals engaged in violent and threatening behavior that caused a public annoyance. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.


CHAUTAUQUA – Tammy Beaujean, 49, of Mayville was charged Friday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to yield right of way and inadequate brakes. At 4:37 p.m., Beaujean was allegedly testing her brakes on her driveway, when they suddenly failed to work. She entered the roadway and struck a vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries. Beaujean will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.



KIANTONE – Vicky L. Kelwaski, 54, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, consuming alcohol in a vehicle and unsafe backing after a traffic stop on Route 62 in Kiantone for unsafe backing. Upon interviewing Kelwaski, police detected an odor of alcohol was detected and conducted field sobriety tests. Kelwaski was transported to state police in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .10 was obtained. She will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.

GERRY – Jason C. Bang, 43, of Kiantone was charged Friday with aggravated driving while intoxicated after he drove up to a road check being conducted on Route 60 in Gerry, having an adult and a two-year-old passenger in the car. The odor of alcohol was detected and after field tests, Bang was placed under arrest for DWI. He was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .12 was obtained. Bang will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.
