Area Police Reports


Timmie D. Brown, 37, of Jamestown was charged Friday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. At 3:21 p.m., officers were dispatched to 630 E. Second St. for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Brown and a female victim. Further investigation determined that Brown threw a frying pan to the floor, causing the glass lid to shatter. There were two 6-month-old children in close proximity and one was struck with broken glass. No injuries resulted. Brown was transported to city jail and is awaiting arraignment.


Justin Swartz, 34, of Falconer was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment after police responded to a domestic dispute at 2602 Second Ave. in Falconer. Investigation revealed that Swartz made unwanted physical contact by grabbing a victim. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Ashley M. Johnson, 26, of Falconer was charged on July 17 with petit larceny. Police were notified by the manager of CVS in Falconer that a shoplifting incident occurred. Surveillance footage identified Johnson. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.


CHARLOTTE – Lucille Frazita, 84, of Dunkirk was charged Sunday with failure to keep right. At 5:15 p.m., Frazita was northbound on Route 60 when her vehicle went off the west side of the road, down an embankment and struck a utility pole. Frazita was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. She will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.
