Patterson Library Benefit Auction, Dinner Scheduled For Aug. 13

Patterson Library is now looking for donations of auction items, big and small, to help make its upcoming fundraiser a success. Dinners, artwork, services, antiques, and furniture will be among the hundreds of auction items up for bid at the Benefit Auction and Barbecue Dinner on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Westfield’s Eason Hall. All proceeds benefit Patterson Library, 40 S. Portage St., Westfield.

A limited number of tickets to the chicken barbecue are available at the library for $10 presale only. Auction attendance is free. The dinner is available from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

For the smaller items, a silent auction is held from 5-6:30 p.m. Big-ticket items will be featured in a live auction beginning at 6:45 p.m., with auctioneer David Brown leading the proceedings.

Auction items can be dropped off at the library by Aug. 12. The auction and dinner is Patterson Library’s major annual fundraiser, with proceeds supporting children’s programs and the purchase of new library materials. For more information call the Patterson Library at 326-2154.
