SHERIFF’S OFFICE

OLEAN – John A. Dugrenier, 53, of Hume was charged Thursday on violation of a probation warrant after being charged with driving while intoxicated. His status is pending.

CARROLLTON – Robert J. Bennett, 42, of Limestone was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right, no/inadequate headlamps and unlicensed operator. At 9 p.m., deputies pulled over Bennett after several alleged traffic infractions. He will appear in Carrollton Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS – Daniel P. Lenahan, 22, of Cattaraugus was charged Monday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 11:45 p.m., deputies responded to an unwanted person complaint on Route 353 in New Albion. Lenahan was located walking on the shoulder of Route 353 near his residence. He told deputies he had a bottle of pills. He will appear in New Albion Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS-Michael K. Beeler, 29, of Cattaraugus was charged on July 9 with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child. He will appear in New Albion Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

Giovanni Batista, 22, of Erie, Pa., was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to keep right. At 5:36 a.m., officers pulled over a vehicle on Foote Avenue near Partridge Street for failing to keep right. Investigation revealed that the driver – Batista – was intoxicated. He was transported to the city jail and found to have a blood alcohol content over the legal limit. He is currently awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.
