Senior Tour Plays In North East

NORTH EAST, Pa. – David Young fired a 74 gross and was first in Flight A white tees with a plus three in the McDonald’s Senior Tour at the Green Meadows Golf Course.

Jud Foy was second with a plus three in the Stableford scoring system and Bruce Carlson was third with also a plus three.

Roger Millspaw and Wayne Schuver each hit an 80 on the Flight A gold tees. Schuver was first with a plus seven, Millspaw a plus three and Bob Wade a plus three.

Dennis Richards fired an 88 in Flight B white tees that was headed by Terry Carlson with a plus 10, Bryan Champlin with a plus seven and Bill Pienta with a plus seven.

Greg Kraus shot an 82 and was the leader in Flight B gold tees with a plus seven. Joe Palermo was a plus five and Pete Pascatore a plus four.

Tom Fairbanks recorded a 91 in the Flight C gold tees and led with a plus seven followed by Tom Krasinski with a plus four and Don Bengston with a plus three.

In the Flight D gold tees, Herb Hern was low with a 99 and Ed Potter was first with a plus six. Hern was next with a plus five and Ron Carlson had a plus five.

Dean Harvey was closest to the pin on No. 3, Millspaw on No. 7, Pat Hepinger on No. 13 and Bill Baglia on No. 16.

The McDonald’s Senior Tour will be back in action at 9 a.m., Monday at South Hills Country Club.
