For the second consecutive year, Ed Shults Ford Lincoln has been honored for its customer service.
Ed Shults III accepted the 2013 Ford Motor Company President’s Award this week at Ed Shults Ford Lincoln, located at 2257 Washington St., Jamestown. The honor heralds the dealership’s performance in its market area and recognizes the business’ leadership and strong dealership team. The President’s Award is only presented to the top-performing Ford dealerships that exhibit quality business practices and Ford’s core principals. Dealerships nationwide competed for this honor, but only 10 percent achieved the award.
“What an honor to do this again,” Shults said. “Being able to receive this two years in a row is phenomenal.”
Megan Pallischeck Carlini, Ford Motor Company regional sales manager, and Alan Scher, Ford Motor Company parts and service regional manager, presented the award to the Shults staff, which included its managers, sales team and auto technicians.
“You all did this,” Carlini said about the team work needed to receive the award.
Scher added that just one bad customer survey can ruin a dealership’s chance at receiving the award.
“President’s Awards don’t happen by accident,” he said.
