The Jamestown Tigers opened up the Walt Roode Memorial Tournament by defeating the Jamestown Red Raiders, 11-5, at Roseland Park.

Brandon Johnston, Cameron Haberberger and Collin Stack each had two hits with Stack driving in two runs for the winners. One of Stack’s hits was a double.

Will Lucas hit a triple and Nolan Hunt a double in the win for Johnston, who clubbed a triple as well.

The Red Raiders had hits from Jacob Tota, Noon and Miller.

The rest of the tourney is at the Martin Road Complex today with three games slated beginning with the Western New York Katz against Buffalo St. Mary’s at 11 a.m. The Jamestown Tigers and the Jamestown Red Raiders are in action later in the afternoon against the Western New York Katz and St. Mary’s.
