Southern Tier Brewing To Featured At Buffalo Festival
LAKEWOOD – The Buffalo Niagara Brewers Association is recognizing Southern Tier Brewing Company at the first-ever Buffalo Brewers Festival at Canalside. Over 30 breweries from around the corner and across the state will showcase their unique libations. The festival will be held Saturday, from 3-10 p.m., with Buffalo’s Canalside as the festival’s backdrop in celebrating all things New York state craft beer.
“Southern Tier Brewing Company is proud to be numbered among New York state’s premier breweries and we can’t wait to showcase our product for the enthusiastic Buffalo Niagara community,” said Phin DeMink, president and founder of Southern Tier Brewing Company. “From the casual beer drinkers to the most seasoned enthusiast, this festival will offer a truly unique experience with the best of the best locally produced craft beer. Come on out on Saturday and let us pour you a cold one.”
The event will feature live music by national headlining artist J.J. Grey & Mofro and Tumbleweed Wanders as well as Buffalo’s favorites Big Leg Emma, Steam Donkeys and Pine Fever. Another highlight of the festival will be the “Meet-the-Brewer” tent that features special tastings, educational panels and brewer-led beer pairings with cheese, charcuterie and chocolate.
“The Buffalo Brewers Festival will showcase the wide range of beers that make New York a special place for beer enthusiasts,” said Willard Brooks, chairperson of the BNBA. “Plus, while eating, drinking and being merry, we are also strengthening our commitment to the community and the revitalization of downtown Buffalo and the Canalside District.”
