Richard Toeltl, 73, of 1027 Hunt Road, Lakewood, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, in WCA Hospital.
He was born July 4, 1941, in Hungary, the son of the late Mathias and Elizabeth Tremmel Toeltl.
Prior to his retirement, Richard was a welder at Jamestown Metal Products.
Previously, he ran the metaltronics department at Chase Interiors.
Richard was a member of the Moose Lodge, and the Eagles Lodge 2145, where he served as president and trustee for many years.
Richard was a very caring and giving man. He was extremely proud of his grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and loved his family very much.
Surviving are his wife of over 50 years, Peggy Stetter Toeltl, whom he married Aug. 31, 1963; a son, Richard A. (Elizabeth) Toeltl; two daughters: Tina (David) Williams and Kristin King (Michael Pace); three grandchildren: Justin Barr, Ronald Barr Jr. and Matthew Toeltl; three great-grandchildren: J’vion Barr, Cameron Barr and Kaven Gilbert, all of Jamestown; and a brother, Matthew (Maryann) Toeltl of New Jersey.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Barr.
A celebration of Richard’s life will be announced at a later date.
