Behind Chad Nelson’s gem, the Jamestown Tigers blanked Iroquois, 10-0, on Thursday night.

Nelson threw a no-hitter with eight strikeouts while Bram Johnson, Chris Haase and Cameron Haberberger all had multiple hits for the Tigers.

Haberberger drove in three runs with his hits and Brett Payne contributed a two-run double.

Jamestown plays a twin bill with Bulletproof baseball, starting at noon today at the Martin Road Complex.

EAST LAKE BABE

RUTH LEAGUE (13-15)

Sean Kubis hurled a shutout over five innings and struck out 14 as the Falconer Firemen prevailed over Stockton.

Trent Wood stroked three hits with a triple, Kubis added two hits and RBIs hits came from Cody Dallas, Brad Gunnell and Dexter Ormond for the Firemen.

For Stockton, Beebe, Carpenter and Goot picked up the singles.

11-12 ALL-STARS

Nate Abbey collected14 strikeouts and helped his own cause with a double and a single as Falconer downed Gowanda, 5-1.

Jacob Payne, Nick Saeger, Mark Wilcox, Ryan Stimson, Brayden Newman and Matt Gullotti recorded singles for the winners.

Smuda had three of the five Gowanda hits.
