JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Steven M. Sandberg, 30, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Tara L. Shevlin, 29, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. At 8:17 p.m., officers were dispatched to 839 Prendergast Ave. for a dispute. Investigation determined that a witness saw Shevlin enter an apartment through a second-story window without permission from the tenant. When the witness spoke with Sandberg and Shevlin, she was threatened. Sandberg allegedly used a hammer in a threatening manner and pushed the female victim, while she was holding a child. Both Sandberg and Shevlin were transported to the city jail.

ELLERY – Cassidy W. Kingsfield, 24, of Forestville was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana, operating motor vehicle with suspended registration and depositing refuse upon highway. At 7:21 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Ellery-Centralia Road for committing a traffic violation. Investigation revealed that the driver – Kingsfield – was in possession of marijuana. She had also allegedly thrown a marijuana smoking pipe from the vehicle as police initiated the traffic stop. Kingsfield will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK – Travis L. Perkins, 38, of Dunkirk was charged Wednesday with probation violation and felony driving while intoxicated. At 12:10 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Central Avenue in Silver Creek for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed that the vehicle’s passenger – Perkins – had an active felony warrant for probation violation. He was remanded to county jail without bail.
GERRY – Ajaye W. Pattison, 30, of Jamestown was charged Friday with speeding, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, suspended registration, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and switched plates. At 2:30 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for speeding in Gerry. Investigation revealed that the driver – Pattison – had a suspended non-driver license. It was also determined that the vehicle was suspended and bearing switched license plates. He will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT – Frank Thompson III, 29, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with failing to stop at stop sign, failure to signal turn, speeding, failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with .18 percent or higher blood alcohol content. At 3:58 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Fairmount Avenue for committing multiple traffic infractions. Investigation revealed that the driver – Thompson – was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
