Samantha Brigham, 28, of Girard, Pa., passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014, the result of a motor vehicle accident.
She was born Feb. 22, 1986, in Corry, Pa.
Samantha attended Wright School Elementary and graduated from Girard High School in 2004. She later attended the Pittsburgh Technical Institute.
She worked for Quaker Steak & Lube and Crazy 8’s in the Millcreek Mall. Recently she was employed as a manager of a family owned business, Pete’s Pizzeria in Erie.
Samantha’s son and her fiance were her main priority. Her smile and personality could light up a room.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dustin Brigham; a stepmother, Linda H. Brigham; an uncle, Robert Malek; and maternal grandparents, James and Jane Leslie.
Samantha is survived by her father, Robert C. Brigham and his wife, Cassandra of Columbus, Pa.; her mother, Lori (Malek) Gadley of Girard, Pa.; and her stepfather, David Gadley of Girard, Pa.
She is also survived by her fiance, Adam M. Gormley; her son, Jayden C. Gormley; two sisters: Alyssa M. Nocera and her husband, Gary, and Rene Brigham; one brother, Cody Gadley; her paternal grandparents, Bill and Kathy Brigham; one nephew, Mason Nocera; two stepsisters; Melissa Foster and Michelle Phelps; two step-brothers: David Phillips and Jack Trask; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Faith Evangelical Church, 13444 W. Washington Street, Corry, Pa. Pastor Lynn Cirigliano will officiate.
