No injuries were sustained Monday afternoon after a Jamestown driver rear-ended another vehicle in the city.

Shortly before 1 p.m., Evelyn Lisowski, 73, was traveling northbound on Washington Street when she failed to notice a Grand Caravan slowing down in front of her and preparing to make a left turn onto 11th Street, police said.

Lisowski’s Buick Lucerne rear-ended the Grand Caravan and sustained significant front-end damage.

Lisowski was uninjured.

The driver of the Grand Caravan, Vera Keeton, 66, of Florida, was also uninjured.

Her vehicle sustained minor damages.

Jamestown police and fire officials responded to the scene shortly afterward.

Charges are pending further investigation, police said.
