JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Donald C. Harkins Jr., 40, was taken into custody and charged following an incident occurring Friday evening. At approximately 9:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to 563 E. Second St. for a suspicious situation. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Harkins and a female victim in the apartment. Through investigation, officers determined that Harkins had a valid order of protection to stay away from the victim in the apartment. He was charged for second-degree harassment, and transported to city jail without incident.
Ebony L. Jones, 28, received several charges for outstanding warrants after being found by officers Friday morning. At approximately 8:18 a.m., officers observed Jones on the corner of E. Second and Winsor streets, with the knowledge that Jones had a felony warrant and three misdemeanor warrants outstanding. Jones led officers on a brief foot pursuit, then resisted arrest. He was charged with the outstanding warrants of fourth-degree grand larceny, petit larceny, third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He received a new charge for resisting arrest.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Erin M. Lobb, 34, of Frewsburg, was met with several charges following a traffic stop Friday morning. At approximately 2:26 a.m., sheriff’s patrol stopped a speeding motorist on Route 430 in the town of Ellery. Investigation showed Lobb to be the operator. Deputies observed an opened alcoholic beverage in the cup holder of the vehicle. Lobb was charged for driving while intoxicated, and taken into custody. A check of her license history showed that she had a prior conviction for DWI within the past 10 years, making this incident a felony. Lobb was charged with felony DWI, having a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and speeding. She will appear in Ellery Town Court at a later date.
Terry R. Hile, 55, of Stockton, received two charges of third-degree criminal mischief Thursday afternoon. At approximately 3:50 p.m., Hile was taken into custody on the charges, which stem from a prior incident in which it is alleged that Hile drove his pickup truck into two other motor vehicles, causing damage to them. He was released with appearance tickets, and will appear in Stockton Town Court at a later date.
Ajaye W. Pattison, 30, received multiple charges following a traffic stop that occurred Friday afternoon. At approximately 2:30 p.m., deputies stopped a motor vehicle in the town of Gerry after it was observed traveling at a high rate of speed. After a brief investigation, it is alleged that Pattison was driving with a suspended non-driver license. It was also discovered that the vehicle was suspended and bearing switched license plates. Pattison was issued tickets for speeding, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, suspended registration, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and switched plates.
Jordan T. Adams, 28, was charged and issued appearance tickets for unlawful possession of marijuana following an incident that occurred Saturday morning. At approximately 3:15 a.m., deputies responded to Waits Corners Road in the town of Sherman for a suspicious situation. Investigation showed that Adams was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana, and he was subsequently charged. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Sherman Town Court at a later date.
Christopher C. Hartney, 22, of Portland, was charged with second-degree harassment following an incident that occurred Thursday at approximately 2:15 p.m.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Richard F. Windsor, 70, of Lakewood, was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated following a minor motor vehicle accident Saturday. At approximately 4:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the aforementioned accident, and a short investigation determined that Windsor was intoxicated at the time of the accident. He was issued traffic tickets following a breath sample, and will appear at Busti Town Court at a later date.
ELLICOTTVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
Patricia A. Wesley, 53, of Allegany, was charged with petit larceny following an incident that occurred last month. At approximately 11:15 a.m. on June 23, Wesley allegedly stole merchandise from the Kwik Fill store in the village of Ellicottville while working as a manager of the store. She was issued an appearance ticket directing her to appear in Ellicottville Village Court at a later date.
SOUTHERN TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE
OLEAN – Cain McKnight, 32, of Salamanca, and Dusti L. Ginnery, 28, of Limestone, were charged following an investigation conducted by the Olean-based Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force into the sale and trafficking of illegal narcotics in the cities of Salamanca and Olean. Officers executed a search warrant at 45 1/2 Quilter Ave. in Salamanca. As a result of the search, approximately 5 grams of cocaine were seized with a street value of approximately $500. Also seized was approximately $600 in U.S. currency, scales and paraphernalia. McKnight was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony. Ginnery was also taken into custody at the scene, and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ginnery was subsequently charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal sale of marijuana and fifth-degree criminal sale of marijuana stemming from a previous investigation.
