Robert L. Talbot
Robert L. Talbot, 69, formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., died June 18, 2014, in Spring Hill, Fla., following a long illness.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1961-64.
He had been employed by Dahlstrom’s and moved to Tucson, Ariz., in 1971, where he was employed as a saleman. In 1980, he returned to Jamestown, N.Y., and was employed by AMSCO.
He enjoyed cruises, golfing, traveling, a hot cup of coffee, his mother’s spaghetti, and a cold beer. He was a member of the Moose Club, American Legion and the War Vets.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Pollaro and his father, George E. Talbot.
He is survived by his daughters: Denise (Marshall) Stearns of Frewsburg, N.Y., and Dawn L. Talbot of Inglis, Fla.; grandsons: Adem Suleyman of Crystal River, Fla., Major Stearns of Proctorsville, Vt., and Robbie Stearns of Frewsburg, N.Y.; a sister, Eleanor (Darryl) Hill of Cattaraugus, N.Y.; a brother, George (Sandy) Talbot of El Paso, Texas; and a brother, Dennis (Lois) Talbot of Palm Coast, Fla.
No services will be held as he wished. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to a Hospice of choice.
