Update: Search Continues For Shooting Suspects As Police Execute Search Warrant

The search for the three men who exchanged fire with Jamestown Police officers continues Tuesday afternoon. Police officers entered a residence at the intersection of Falconer and Stowe streets to execute a search warrant related to the shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning.

Jamestown Police and three men exchanged fire on Falconer Street at 3 a.m. Police say the incident involved drugs.

No officers were injured. The subjects are at large.

Officers responded to 188 Falconer St. for a report of a fight. When police arrived, the three subjects fired at them. Officers returned fire. Police believe one of the three subjects was struck by the return fire. All three black males ran away from the residence.

The suspect who is believed to have been shot has long dreadlocks, police said. The suspect was wearing a red baggy shirt and is heavy set.

Officers are currently searching the area with help from the Erie County Sheriff’s Department and multiple K-9 units from several agencies.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies, Jamestown Police Department officers and New York State Troopers are on scene.
