Carlo Presents Flag To Hope’s Windows

Peter Carlo, Past Commander of the 47th Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans, recently presented an American flag to Hope’s Windows of Hopkins Avenue in Jamestown on behalf of his organization “The Pride of Jamestown.” Carlo’s mission is to spread American pride by showing appreciation to organizations that serve the community and employ veterans.

Along with Carlo, Mayor Sam Teresi, City Council President Greg Rabb, several other representatives, and Tom Abbott, a past commander of the 47th Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans, addressed the crowd of Hope’s employees. Hope’s veterans were recognized as well. The ceremony concluded with the Vietnam Veterans’ Firing Squad led by World War II veteran Corporal Tony Costanzo.

Accepting the American flag on behalf of the company were Kelly Farrell DuBois, Scott Farrell and Randy Manitta.
