JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jaysen Galarza Santos, 25, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. At 5:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to Allen Street for a warrant check of Santos, who had a confirmed warrant out of the Chautauqua County Family Court. Upon arriving at the scene, officers observed Santos jumping out of a window and attempting to run away. He was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit, and transported to city jail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
HANOVER – Kenneth Bess, 20, of Lockport was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of alcohol and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 4:17 p.m., deputies were on patrol on Iola Drive in Hanover when they observed Bess in possession of an alcoholic beverage. Investigation revealed that Bess was under 21 and all had a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
LITTLE VALLEY – Preston J. Quinn, 20, of Little Valley was charged Monday with third-degree assault. At 7 p.m., Quinn allegedly punched a 23-year-old male in the face, causing the victim to sustain a broken jaw and require treatment at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. Quinn will appear in Little Valley Court at a later date.
OLEAN – Brandi R. Finch, 25, of Olean was apprehended by Olean Police and turned over to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office to answer a Family Court warrant. She was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $2,000 bail.
