Jammers Will Help At JCC Camp

The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks Championship Sports Camps begin next week with the boys baseball camp. Besides all the regular baseball development skills that will be taught by the camp director, Dick Adams, head baseball coach at JCC, and his coaching staff, campers will have a few Jamestown Jammer players working with them on their technique. Above, one of the camp’s early registrants is seen getting batting tips from Brett McKinney of the Jammers. Also as part of the week, campers will have the opportunity to visit and practice skill work in Diethrick Park, home of the Jammers, the Pittsburgh Pirates’ affiliate in the New York-Penn League. All campers will receive a free ticket to a future Jammer game this summer. To register, visit www.sunyjcc.edu/student-life/athletics/jayhawks/2014-jayhawks-championship-sports-camps or call George Sisson at 338-1269 with any questions.
