Two Women Charged In Heroin Busts
A two-month investigation into the sales and trafficking of heroin in Jamestown led to the arrests of two city residents Thursday morning.
Investigators from the Jamestown Police Department and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team executed two separate search warrants on Park Street at 6:30 a.m. Members of the JPD SWAT team made simultaneous entry into 11 Park St. and 15 Park St. and took two females into custody – Olga E. Santiago, 49, and Doris F. Ramos, 25.
At 11 Park St., investigators seized heroin and $3,000 cash. Investigators took Santiago into custody and charged her with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
At 15 Park St., investigators located heroin and $2,000 in cash. Police charged Ramos with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child as two small children were in the residence.
