Networking On The Beach Now A Free Event Thursday

Did you know that Chautauqua County is home to one of the best beaches in Western New York? And did you know that you can experience this north county treasure during a unique networking event with the Chamber of Commerce on Thursday?

What’s more, you can now enjoy this special evening with free admission thanks to a major sponsorship from NRG Dunkirk Power LLC.

As a thank you to the community for its tremendous outpouring of support for the Repower Dunkirk movement, NRG has joined with other sponsors to provide free admission to this event. All community partners and Chamber members are welcome to attend, with no admission charge.

The Chamber is proud to hold this event at such a tremendous venue – Cabana Sam’s Sunset Bay Grill on South Shore Drive in Irving.

You can experience the glorious summertime, beachside ambience of a clean, daily-groomed, five-acre beach on Lake Erie, all while networking with other local business people. Chamber members, prospective members, elected officials, school personnel, and members of community groups and organizations are invited to attend.

This Experience Chautauqua Networking Event will be held on Thursday, June 19 from 5-6:30 p.m. It is sponsored by NRG Dunkirk Power LLC, Casella Waste Services, the Jamestown Jammers, Liazon Corporation, OBSERVER, Putnam Record Insurance Agency, and The Post-Journal.

Great Lakes Experience Festival

In Dunkirk June 21

For the second year in a row, the Great Lakes Experience Festival is coming to Dunkirk. This event focuses on the environment and ecology of the Great Lakes and the heritage of our region, and will include family entertainment, environmental exhibitors, food vendors, and lots of information about habitat, science, recreation, tourism, and fun. The Dunkirk Community Chamber of Commerce has been actively involved in planning this event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 21 at Memorial Park.

Sponsors Music On The Pier

The Dunkirk Community Chamber is a major sponsor for this summer’s City of Dunkirk Festivals program. Each summer the city organizes a series of Thursday night concerts, special events, and weekend festivals.

The Chamber of Commerce would like to invite everyone to visit the beautiful harbor and waterfront in Dunkirk during the summer months to take part in these activities.

As a major sponsor the Dunkirk Community Chamber will be the host for “Music on the Pier Night” to be held on Thursday, June 26 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The featured band for the night is “Wanted: America’s Bon Jovi Tribute Band,” The band hails from Cleveland, Ohio and has headlined at the House of Blues and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

Chamber members, family, friends, and the public are invited to stop by the Chamber tent on June 26 at the City Pier to say hello and learn more about the opportunities with the Chamber of Commerce.

There is no charge for admission.

Mayville-Chautauqua Chamber Concerts In The Park Scheduled

The Mayville-Chautauqua Community Chamber of Commerce will kick off its 20th season of Concerts in the Park on Thursday, July 10. All performances will be held at the gazebo at Lakeside Park and anyone attending should bring their own seating for outside performances.

In case of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to the Carlson Community Center adjacent to the gazebo.

Concerts will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
