Mayville Man Charged With Dealing Heroin

MAYVILLE – A Mayville man was taken into custody Wednesday morning for allegedly selling heroin out of a Hartfield residence.

Justin L. Eck, 32, became a wanted man after police determined he had sold quantities of heroin to members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force on multiple occasions.

On Wednesday at approximately 10 a.m., deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office located and apprehended Eck at his 4458 Morris Road residence in Mayville.

Eck was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and remanded to the county jail on $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 property bond.

Additional charges will be filed against Eck after his case is presented to a Chautauqua County Grand Jury, police said.

Eck’s arrest culminates a three-month investigation into heroin sales in the Hartfield area.
