Hole-In-One

CHAUTAUQUA – Dave Woodfield Sr., 73, connected for his third-career ace while playing the Lake Course at Chautauqua Golf Club recently. Woodfield’s shot came on the par-3 sixth hole and he used a pitching wedge. His feat was witnessed by Gail Nolan, Dick Joslyn and Craig Marker.

BUSTI – Ninety-two-year-old Bill Glatz of West Ellicott probably became the oldest golfer ever to record an hole-in-one at South Hills Country Club. Glatz used a 9-wood to ace the 120-yard, par-3 fourth hole on Thursday while playing with Bill Larson, Al Woodard and Lloyd Schrecengost.

CHAUTAUQUA – John Tanner from Falconer recorded his first career hole-in-one recently at Chautauqua Golf Club on the the 170-yard, par-3 12th hole on the Lake Course. He used a 7-iron and the shot was witnessed by Matt Fuller, Paul Stage and Alan Laurita.
