Touch-A-Truck And Chamber/Aspire Night At The Jammers

Home opener weekend for the Jamestown Jammers promises to be terrific this year, with two fabulous events on tap for Saturday, June 14 that will be fun for the whole family!

The first is Touch-A-Truck, to be held just outside Russell E. Diethrick Jr. Park from 4:30-7 p.m. This special afternoon will allow people of all ages to see, touch and learn about vehicles they may not have had a chance to see before, ranging from specialty cars to trucks of all sizes and for all uses. The carnival atmosphere will also include music, a dunk tank and bounce houses by Bounce About Inflatables and food by 3C’s Catering.

Unique vehicles signed up to participate are a semi, cement mixer, Zamboni, emergency response vehicle, police, ambulance, and fire vehicles, an off-road dump truck, specialty equipment, and many other exciting trucks to explore!

Touch-A-Truck is free to attend and is sponsored by Aspire of WNY, Shults Auto Group, Jamestown Jammers Baseball, and the Jamestown Community and Chautauqua County Chambers of Commerce.

Then, at 7 p.m., the Jammers game begins. It’s Chamber Night at the Ballpark, which means Chamber members can contact the Chamber for free tickets to the game!

You can also purchase tickets to win one of two amazing top prizes: a Pittsburgh Weekend Getaway which includes four tickets to the Aug. 30 Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Reds game, an overnight stay at any Pittsburgh Red Roof Inn, and a $100 Visa gift card; or a 55″ Vizio LED TV!

The winners will be drawn during the 7th inning, so there will be plenty of opportunity to enter the drawing, both during the Touch-A-Truck event and the Jammers Game!

All prizes have been generously donated by the Pittsburgh Pirates, Jamestown Jammers, Red Roof Inn, and the Jamestown Community and Chautauqua County Chambers of Commerce. Additional second chance prizes are being donated by Jamestown Chamber members. You do not need to be present to win, but we would love to see you at the game!
