Jamestown Elite Places Second In Erie

The Jamestown Elite took second place in the Erie Spring Classic last weekend.

In pool play, Jamestown Elite lost to SMAC PA Intensity, 38-31. Natalie Angeletti led the way for the Elite with 12 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists, while Allie Stockwell added seven points and 11 rebounds.

Later in pool play, Jamestown Elite beat Shut Em Down, 38-25, and the Millcreek Hoopsters, 31-21. Stockwell had 12 points and seven rebounds, Angeletti had 10 points and nine rebounds, and Olivia Gates had seven points and three steals against Shut Em Down. Against the Millcreek Hoopsters, Stockwell was the leading scorer and rebounder with 12 points and eight boards. Macey Lundmark chipped in eight points, four rebounds and four steals, and Angeletti had seven points, seven rebounds and three steals.

In the playoffs, Jamestown Elite beat Native Thunder 37-12, as Stockwell had 13 points, six rebounds and two assists, Angeletti had nine points, eight rebounds and two assists, and Erin Radack had seven points, two steals and two assists. In the championship game, Jamestown Elite fell to SMAC PA Intensity, 56-33. Radack and Stockwell were the leading scorers with nine points apiece. Angeletti had six points and seven rebounds.
