CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

RIPLEY – Dale W. Reynolds, 74, of Ripley was charged Monday with first-degree criminal contempt, disorderly conduct and trespass. At approximately 4:33 p.m., Reynolds was arrested from an incident that occurred on May 13. He was located at his residence and taken into custody without incident. He was committed to the county jail in lieu of $10,000/$20,000 bail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sonja M. Lennon, 34, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with third-degree assault. At approximately 12:30 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the Fluvanna area to assist a female with a head laceration from an alleged fall. Further investigation revealed that the female was in a domestic incident with another female who allegedly threw a coffee mug at her face. Lennon was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

Leon J. Kindt, 47, of Salamanca was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 2:50 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on East Main Street Extension in Falconer for an alleged traffic infraction. Further investigation revealed that the passenger – Kindt – had a valid warrant for his arrest out of the Jamestown Police Department. While police took Kindt into custody, they found a quantity of marijuana on his person. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
