Sanvidge To Lead IDA
MAYVILLE — Kevin Sanvidge has been named the new executive director of the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency.
“Kevin has a strong background and proven success in manufacturing and administration as he has 25 years of experience in leading organizations, managing employees and ensuring significant financial growth,” said Vince Horrigan, Chautauqua County executive. “Together with his business and community involvement, I believe his energy and talents will have a high impact on growing and retaining jobs in Chautauqua County and I am excited to have him join our team of professionals.”
Sanvidge is currently a member of the board of directors of Lake Shore Savings Bank, where he also serves as chairman of its Compensation Committee and as a member of its Corporate Governance Committee. He is also a member of the board of directors of ECR International Corp., where he also serves as the chairman of its Compensation Committee and as a member of its Audit Committee. He is also a past chairman of the board of directors of the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce.
The selection of the new director was made through the help of a search committee established by Horrigan. Members of the committee included: George Borrello, county legislator; Dave Dawson, former administrative director of the CCIDA, former acting county executive and president of Dawson Metal; Mike Metzger, member of the CCIDA board of directors; and Dennis Rak, member of the CCIDA board of directors.
