John E. Pavlock

John E. Pavlock, 57, of Jamestown passed away unexpectedly Friday (May 16, 2014) in Erie County

Medical Center, Buffalo, NY.

A lifelong area resident he was born Nov. 6, 1956, in Jamestown, the son of the late Edward J. and Elaine Cameron Pavlock.

John was a graduate of Falconer High School, Jamestown Community College and Clarkson College of Technology earning a B.S. in Civil Engineering.

He was currently employed by South & Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer District for the past 28 years.

John was a member of the Independent Order of Vikings Lodge #65 and was currently serving as Grand Chief of Independent Order of Vikings. He had served as Past Chief of Vikings Lodge #65. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, motor-cycling, snowmobiling, traveling, camping and was a Buffalo Bills fan.

Surviving are his wife Debbie Green Pavlock, whom he married May 5, 1979 in Falconer; two daughters: Carrie (Julian) Nicholas, Courtney (Marc) Singer, both of Rochester; two brothers: George (Denise) Pavlock of Jamestown, Richard (Sandy) Pavlock of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister Susan (Phil) Watrous of Corry,

Pa.

He was preceded in death by his father Edward Pavlock on May 13, 1999, and his mother Elaine Pavlock on Sept. 16, 2008.Friends will be received by the family from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. The Independent Order of Vikings Lodge #65 will conduct a service at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life for John will be held on Thurs-day at 2 p.m. at the Independent Order of Vikings Lodge #65 on Chautauqua Lake.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to: Children’s Burn Camp of America, American Diabetes Association or Jamestown

Humane Society.
