CHAUTAUQUA – Tashara L. Rhoades, 27, of Russell, Pa., has been charged with driving while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or higher and speed. At approximately 1:55 a.m. Sunday, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on McKay Road. Upon investigation, the operator, Rhoades, was found to be intoxicated. Rhoades was charged and later released. She is scheduled to appear in the Chautauqua Court next month to answer the charges.
WESTFIELD – Shawn M. Cettell, 26, was charged with second-degree harassment and two counts of disorderly conduct following an incident Saturday. At approximately 4:57 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Westfield mobile home park for a harassment complaint. Upon arrival and further investigation, it was found that Cettell had grabbed an individual and threw him from a porch. Deputies observed Cettell urinate on a roadway, as well as yelling and shouting obscenities in the presence of other residents of the mobile home park. Cettell was charged and arraigned, and taken to the Chautauqua Court. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail and $2,000 property bond, and will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.
BROCTON – Adam Neubauer, 26, has been charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. At 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, employees at Jamestown Plastics found a subject in their break room stealing food. The subject had broken out a window in the room to gain access inside. The subject jumped back out the window after being seen by employees and fled on foot. Deputies were able to locate the suspect, identified as Neubauer, shortly after the incident. He was arraigned in the Brocton Court, and committed without bail to Chautauqua County Jail.
BUSTI – Robert E. Mitchell, 46, of Cassadaga, was charged with petit larceny following a larceny investigation involving a Samsung cellphone at Wal-Mart. Mitchell was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Busti Court at a later date.
OLEAN – Samuel J. Gross, 42, was arrested Friday on two warrants following a traffic stop by state police. Gross was wanted for fourth-degree grand larceny and family court violation. He was arraigned at Allegany Court, and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $3,250 bail. He is scheduled to appear in the town court and family court at a later date.
