Annual Easter Egg Hunt Held In Kennedy
KENNEDY – The Town of Poland Recreation Committee recently held the annual Easter Egg hunt at the Paul B.D. Temple School. The weather cooperated so the hunt could be held outside, and it was a big draw.
One hundred sixty-one children participated in the hunt this year, with parents and grandparents there to support them. It’s always hard to tell who has the most fun in the 3-and-under group, the little ones or their adult helpers. No one left empty-handed. After the hunt itself, numbers were drawn for extra prizes as well. Many adults say they enjoy this tradition in Kennedy so much because all the children get a chance to find something, that it is not so large to be scary for the younger ones.
The Town of Poland Recreation Committee does an excellent job in making sure all participants get something for their day’s hunt.
