ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jesse T. Swanson, 21, of Falconer was charged on May 1 with petit larceny and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Police received a complaint that Swanson entered a local business and tried to use a debit card that was later reported stolen. Swanson tried using the card, but it was declined. Swanson was remanded to county jail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Danielle J. Schimek, 22, of Cherry Creek was charged Thursday with petit larceny and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument at approximately 3:30 p.m. It is alleged that Schimek stole $30.68 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. While processing, he was found to have a hypodermic instrument. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Francyna F. Morin, 41, of Jamestown and Joseph S. Felice Jr., 60, of Jamestown were both charged with petit larceny at approximately 3:32 p.m. It is alleged that both parties entered the Lakewood Wal-Mart together, selected a pair of shoes in the shoe department and replaced them with the shoes they were wearing. As they exited the store they were stopped. Both suspects were issued appearance tickets to appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Savannah E. Gross, 21, of Jamestown was charged at her apartment Tuesday with petit larceny. It is alleged that Gross entered the Lakewood Wal-Mart on May 6 and left the store with $419.09 worth of merchandise. She subsequently ran from the store and left in a vehicle. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
GREAT VALLEY – Robert L. Ratzel, 77, of Allegany was charged Tuesday with following too close. The Sheriff’s Office along with Killbuck Fire Department and Salamanca City Fire Department responded to a three-car accident in front of Mikey’s Emporium on Route 417. Investigation revealed that Ratzel rear-ended a vehicle which caused it to rear-end another vehicle. Ratzel will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.
