JPS To Hold Budget Hearing

Jamestown Public Schools will hold a public hearing regarding the 2014-15 budget Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Persell Middle School auditorium.

The hearing will give the public information, and offer the opportunity to ask questions regarding the 2014-15 budget. The Jamestown budget vote and school board elections will be held Tuesday, May 20, at Jefferson Middle School, Lincoln Elementary School and Washington Middle School from noon to 9 p.m. Registered voters can vote only at their designated polling site, which is based on their address. If you are unsure of your polling site, please call the Jamestown district clerk at 483-4420 for clarification. Voters will also choose board of education candidates for three open seats. Candidates for the 2014-15 school year are Paul Abbott, Shelly Leathers and Tom Pope.
