Leadoff hitter Kristian Duffee delivered three hits with a double as JTA topped Lions, 9-1.

Coleson Barber had two hits while Camden Blair, Nate Torres and Cole Simmons contributed timely hits for the winners.

Nathan Torres and Cole Simmons pitched a no-hit shutout as JTA blanked Cusimano’s, 15-0.

Coleson Barber and Simmons divided four hits while Evan Christensen doubled for the winners.


Lena’s Pizza claimed a 13-2 win over Hallenbeck in 11-12 Babe Ruth major league action at Bergman Park. Pitching in the win for Lena’s was Brandon Michael, Gabriel Colon, and Alex Tremblay.

Hallenbeck was led on the mound by Harry Monfort and Nolan Scoma.

Monfort struck a pair of hits and Dustin Paffinger also had a pair at the plate for Hallenbeck.

Trembal banged two singles, Josh Zielinski two, and Micael two in the win.

Lena’s also claimed a 12-2 win over Lewis & Lewis.

The pitchers from the winning team were Peyton Olson and Zielinski, while Brennan Roemholdt and Jericho Johnson split time for Lewis & Lewis.

Olson broke the game open with an inside-the-park home run.

Chase Jones, and Ashlin Nelson were the offensive leaders in the loss.



Lucas Beardsley stroked four hits, Patrick Spencer two doubles and Ayden Haglin a double and a single as ERA Team Zahn opened the season by beating Kendall Club.

Aric Bloomquist was the defensive standout for the winners.

C.J. Hampton and Connor Jukes split four hits and Cole Bloomquist was the defensive standout for Kendall Club, which also was playing for the first time this spring.


Carson Panebianco swatted two doubles and Jack Carlson added two hits as Slone-Melhuish downed LSS, 5-1.

Joe Mistretta and Jomar Marredo split four hits in the setback.
