Frontier Completes Win Over Jamestown

In a baseball game resumed from last Friday, Frontier defeated Jamestown, 16-5, in ECIC Division 1 action on Tuesday at the Martin Road Complex.

When the action was suspended because of the rain, Frontier held an 8-4 lead with one out and the bases loaded in the fifth inning. The Falcons went on to outscore the Red Raiders, 8-1, the rest of the way.

Frontier had only three hits but took advantage of 15 walks, three hit batters and four errors in handing the Red Raiders their sixth straight league loss and 10th overall.

Chris Haase hit two doubles and Jake Sisson a double and a single in the loss. Sisson’s double brought in a run in the first inning followed by Haase RBI two-bagger.
