Interstate Alarm

WARREN, Pa. – Dozens of firefighters responded to a structure fire at 1961 Robin Hill Road, Warren, Pa., on Monday. The Scandia Volunteer Fire Department first responded to the blaze before calling the Frewsburg Fire Department for assistance around 6:30 p.m.

The two-story home suffered considerable smoke and fire damage, with burn marks visible around an exterior first-floor and basement window. The fire seemed under control just before 7 p.m. as first responders turned their attention to a few household dogs who were affected by smoke inhalation.

The Kiantone Fire Department was called in to back up in Frewsburg and the Lander Volunteer Fire Department was called in to back up in Scandia. The departments of Glade, Russell and North Warren also provided mutual aid.

No further information concerning the well-being of the animals or how the fire began was available by press time.
