Dragons, JHS Post Tennis Sweeps

Homestanding Maple Grove raised its record to 4-2 in boys West Division tennis with a 5-0 win over Cassadaga Valley on Thursday afternoon.

In singles play, Riley Beaton, Kyle Richardson and George Kerr all won for Maple Grove.

The first-doubles team of Patrick Nelson-Brandon Greiner along with second doubles Patrick Crossley-Josh Lamper captured their matches for the Red Dragons.

Host Jamestown raised its record to 2-4 by toppling Frewsburg (0-4), 5-0.

First singles Liam Kulakowski, second singles Ryan Whisner and third singles Josh Anderson were the victors for JHS.

Jacob Johnson and Abu Latif won in first doubles and Nick D’Angelo and Cameron Weaver in second doubles for the winners.
